Local Living: Finlay Fridays Concert, Chili-Cornbread Competition, Summer at Edventure, Outfest

 

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, the music is coming back to Finlay Park once again.

The Finlay Fridays Concert is from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on May 22 with Writers Block performing.

The series runs through October 30, and it is free to attend.

 

The Richland County Neighborhood Council is hosting its 3rd annual Chili Cornbread Competition Friday, May 22.

It’s from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Pine Grove Community Center on Piney Woods Road.

You can sample some tasty chili & cornbread, take part in wellness activities, win prizes and more.

It is also free to attend.

 

You can kick off the Summer at Edventure Children’s Museum.

The annual Kickoff to Summer event is a fun-filled day packed with hands-on activities, games, food trucks, and more.

It takes place this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and admission is $15.

 

SC Pride’s annual block party returns next month.

Outfest brings together community, culture, and entertainment for a full day of joy and pride.

There will be live music, a drag pageant, vendors, food and more.

It takes place June 6 in the 1100 block of Park Street in the Vista.
