Sheriff: Former deputy charged with DUI

Richland Co., S.C. (WOLO)– Sheriff Leon Lott says a former deputy was arrested and charged with DUI.
Investigators say Wednesday night the Highway Patrol stopped Spencer Link on Bluff Rd for a traffic violation.
Troopers say link was believed to be under the influence of alcohol and arrested.
Sheriff Lott says Link was immediately suspended without pay and is no longer employed with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.
