Stellantis unveils $70 billion business plan

(CNN)– Stellantis is responding to economic conditions in the U.S. by launching more cheap vehicles.

The automaker outlined a $70-billion investment plan Thursday, May 21.

Stellantis will continue focusing on Jeep and Ram in the U.S. but Chrysler is getting three new compact SUV’s.

At least one of them will retail for under $30,000.

Of the 11 all new vehicles the company plans to introduce, seven will cost less than $40,000.

Ram will get compact and mid-size trucks to help diversity its current line-up of only full-size pick-ups.
