Judge denies bond for man arrested in connection to shooting incident at school
RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)–A judge has denied bond for 44-year-old Corey Gibbons who was arrested in connection to a shooting incident May 12.
It happened at Horrell Hill Elementary School.
He is accused of shooting at Richland County Sheriff’s Department School Resource Officer Toynika Hall.
She did not engage, but instead went inside the school to put it on lockdown.
Gibbons was arrested on several charges including attempted murder.
He remains in custody at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
