Meta need people to build data centers

(CNN)– The bad news is robots are taking your job, the good news is the robot factory is hiring.

Meta wants to train people to build data centers.

It is launching what it calls America’s Workforce Academy which is a free-of-charge five-week training program.

Graduates earn industry-approved credentials and a guarantee of a job at a meta data-center construction site.

Meta is putting $115 million behind it as it works to build the infrastructure for its massive Ai plans.

Experts say the construction industry will need 350,000 new workers this year.
