Local Living: 4th of July celebrations, and free peach ice cream
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, you can celebrate America’s 250th birthday early with the South Carolina Philharmonic.
The Fireworks with the Phil concert is back at Segra Park this Saturday, June 27.
Gates open at 6:30 p.m., the concert starts at 8 p.m., and the fireworks go off at 9:15 p.m.
Fort Jackson is celebrating America’s birthday on America’s birthday.
There will be musical performances, a laser light show, carnival rides, food trucks, and of course fireworks.
Gates open at 4 p.m., music starts at 5 p.m., and the fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public.
You must bring a valid ID for entry.
The Lexington County Peach Festival is back on July 4.
It’s from 8 a.m. to 9:15 p.m. at the Gilbert Community Park.
There will be live music, a parade, fireworks, and all the peaches you can eat and more.
It’s free to attend.
In celebration of the upcoming Peach Festival, Hometown 803 is giving out free peach ice cream this Saturday, June 27.
It starts at 11 in the morning at their location on North Oak Street in Batesburg-Leesville.
They will give out one free scoop per person while supplies last.
