Wilson’s office announced Monday that it filed a motion seeking the release of the original trial transcript and related investigative materials that led Judge Clifton Newman to dismiss a juror for violating the court’s orders.

The office said any records released would include appropriate privacy redactions.

The Attorney General’s Office also asked the court to modify a protective order to allow the release of documents and video interviews connected to the jury investigation involving former Colleton County Clerk of Court Becky Hill.

According to the motion, the requested records would also be subject to privacy redactions before being made public.
