Meta launches Ai image generator

(CNN)– Meta is rolling out a new Ai image generator for Instagram and Whatsapp.

‘Muse Image’ lets users create and edit realistic photos using simple text prompts.

That can include changing the lighting in a picture to creating entirely new images or restoring old family photos.

Meta also previewed ‘Muse Video’, an Ai video generator expected to launch in the coming months.

The new tools are part of the company’s push to compete with rivals like Open-Ai and Google as it pours billions of dollars into artificial intelligence.
