More than 450 cyclists taking 3-day journey across state to help end Alzheimer’s
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– More than 450 cyclists are taking a three-day journey across the state to help end Alzheimer’s.
Participants of the Ride To End Alz arrived at Newberry College around 12 p.m. Fri, July 10, after traveling nearly seventy miles from Simpsonville.
Saturday, July 11, the group will head to Orangeburg before finishing the trek in Charleston Sunday, July 12.
The Alzheimer’s Association of South Carolina says there are resources to help those showing early signs of the disease.
Officials with the Alzheimers Association say they have already raised more than $900,000 of their one-and-a-half-million dollar goal.
