CRFD first shift crews put out Kelsey Street home fire

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Early Monday morning, first shift crews put out a fire at a home on Kelsey Street, says CRFD.

A large amount of fire was showing from the front of the house on Kelsey Street off of Fairfield Road when firefighters arrived to the scene.

Crews made entry and extinguished the fire in several interior rooms, according to Columbia-Richland Fire Dept.

The occupant of the property escaped out of a window and was taken by Richland County EMS for minor injuries.

Firefighters also rescued several pets in the house.
