Columbia man sentenced to life for 2023 murder

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– A Columbia man will spend life in prison for a 2023 murder in Lexington County.

According to the 11th Circuit Solicitor’s Office, Tyrese Glascho was sentenced in connection with the death of Emily Zeigler.

Investigators say on June 7 of 2023, Glascho and another suspect opened shot and robbed a man sitting in a Lexus parked in the driveway of a home on Pine Grove Road.

Deputies say Zeigler walked out of her home after hearing the disturbance and was shot in her heart and died at the scene.

Glascho is now in the custody of the SC Department of Corrections.
