Johnson to announce running mate soon

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Democratic candidate for governor and Representative Jermaine Johnson says he’s picked a running mate.

Last week on X, Johnson said “It’s official, we’ve chosen our lieutenant governor. The big announcement drops soon.”

No word yet on when he’ll make the announcement or who he  has picked.

This November, Johnson will face Republican candidate and Attorney General Aan Wilson in the governors race.

Wilson chose Mike Reichenbach as his lt. governor.
