Local Living: annual Greek Festival, Okra Strut, teddy bear clinic, Music Man Senior musical

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living,  don’t miss the annual Greek Festival next month.

You can enjoy music, food, vendors and learn little bit about Greek culture.

It takes place September 17 through September 20 at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral on Sumter Street.

Admission is free.

The Town of Irmo is hosting their 51st annual Okra Strut next month.

Opening ceremonies will kick-off at 6 in the evening on Friday, September 25.

Then the fun continues through Saturday, September 26 at 9 in the morning with a parade followed by family-friendly activities.

It all takes place at Moore Park and is free to attend.

Prisma Health Children’s Hospital and Edventure’s teddy bear clinic is this Saturday, August 15, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the museum.

Kids can bring their teddy bears for x-rays, wellness checks and more.

It’s $15 for adults, $10 dollars for first responders, military and seniors, and free for kids under 2 and public school teachers.

Village Square Theatre’s production of the Music Man Senior is hitting the stage this weekend.

Showtimes are at 7 p.m. this Friday, August 14, and at 3 p.m. Saturday, August 15, and Sunday, August 16, at the theatre on Caughman Road.
