2 killed in two-vehicle collision in Orangeburg identified

ORANGEBURG CO., S.C. (WOLO)– The Orangeburg County Coroner’s Office has identified two people killed in a two vehicle collision Monday.

Coroner Sean Fogle identified the victims as Ahmad Islar, 23, of Cope and Shariah Bradley, 21, of Sumter.

According to troopers, Islar was driving a 2017 Honda with Bradley as a passenger at the intersection of Cordova Road and Rivelon Road.

Troopers say Islar tried to overtake a vehicle when he struck a 2018 Honda head-on.

Islar and Bradley died from blunt force injuries on the scene, while the driver of the 2018 Honda was taken to the hospital with injuries.

This incident remains under investigation.
