Police: Two officers injured in officer-involved shooting, SLED investigating

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)— Columbia Police say they responded to an officer-involved shooting Saturday morning in Southeast Park.

Investigators say two officers were injured at the park on Hazelwood Rd., however there is no ongoing threat to the public.

SLED is investigating the incident and the Richland Co. Sheriff’s Dept. is assisting.
