No bull! Midlands agencies team up to wrangle escaped livestock

Prosperity, S.C. (WOLO)– Police in Prosperity say it took a team effort to capture a bull running loose Tuesday.

Investigators say the bull was in the area of Shealy Dr. and Forest Hill Blvd.

According to police the animal was safely located on S. Wheeler Ave. and reunited with his owner.

Police say the owner told them a tree fell on a fence Sunday allowing the bull to escape.

Police say the Highway Patrol, Newberry Co. Sheriff’s Office, Prosperity Rescue Squad, and Little Mountain Rescue Squad all took part in the operation.
