Pedestrian fatally struck by three vehicles on I-26 in Lexington

LEXINGTON CO., S.C. (WOLO) – Highway Patrol says a pedestrian was fatally struck by three vehicles on I-26 West Monday morning.

It happened at mile marker 105 at 4:05 a.m.

According to Lance Corporal Brittany Glover, the pedestrian was in the roadway when they were struck by the three vehicles that were headed west.

The victim died on scene while the three drivers involved weren’t hurt.

The Lexington County Coroner’s Office has not released the victim’s identity as the investigation continues.
