Trump administration proposes census plan

(CNN)– The Trump Administration is working on a census plan that would stop counting undocumented migrants.

According to the proposal, only data of permanent residents would be included in the survey.

Historically, the census has been used to determine the number of House seats each state gets in Congress.

The census won’t be given out again until 2030.

The U.S. Commerce Department which oversees the census has also suggested removing questions about race, ethnicity, and sexual orientation.
