Ai helps uncover security flaw
(CNN)– Three companies say they used Ai technology to find critical bugs that could have affected about 70% of the internet.
They include Open Ai, Google-owned Wiz and another cybersecurity company.
The bugs they uncovered are referred to a PHP2 Shell.
Researchers say it could allow hackers to execute code, read memory, and uncover sensitive information.
The PHP Foundation says a patch to fix the problem is available to the public as of Wednesday, October 21.
It’s encouraging website operators to use it to immediately update their systems.
