Cheerios creates resealable bags added to boxes

(CNN)– Keeping one brand of breakfast cereal fresh is about to get a whole lot easier.

Cheerios is announcing a Ziploc resealable bag inside boxes of Cheerios and Honey Nut Cheerios for the first time ever.

The “pantry seal” opens part way to create a spout for pouring your cereal and then can be re-sealed to keep your breakfast staple fresher longer.

Cheerios with Ziploc pantry-seal is available now through Walmart’s website and will be rolled-out to more stores in the coming months.
