Someone breaks into Lexington sheriff’s home
LEXINGTON, S.C. (AP) — Lexington County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a break-in at the home of the boss.
The State newspaper reported that someone broke into the home of Sheriff James Metts near Lake Murray on Tuesday.
A report says the home was ransacked and entertainment equipment was stolen.
Deputies were summoned by a home alarm.
Metts would not talk about the break-in.
