Bicycle of missing 12-year-old Loris girl found

LORIS, S.C. (AP) — Horry County police say they have found the bicycle of a 12-year-old girl last seen three days ago, but she is still missing.

Authorities said McCarrie Blankenship was last seen riding her bike Sunday afternoon in Loris.

Police say the bicycle was found Tuesday evening, but they didn’t say where.

Investigators say the girl had threatened to run away last weekend because she was upset her family had moved to another home.
