COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)–Midlands campers are getting a taste of South Carolina’s rich history. With the help of resident artist Olga Yukhno nine six-foot tall totem poles were dedicated at Saluda Shoals Park. The Totem poles are made of clay cinders and feature nature based carvings. Saluda Shoals held a ceremony Tuesday to “bless” the installation. The Totem poles are carved into animals. You can see them at Saluda Shoals Park off Old Bush River road.
