Swinney On Home Opener: “We Will Be Challenged”

CLEMSON, S.C. (WOLO) — When the Tigers play Saturday in Death Valley, they’ll be taking on a team that had almost 600 yards of total offense in week one. Ball State beat Eastern Michigan 37-26 last week, and will be Clemson’s first opponent at home this season. The Cardinals put up 596 yards of offense, including 320 yards on the ground. The Tigers are coming off their statement win over Auburn last week, and look to go 3-0 over the Cardinals. Clemson beat Ball State in Death Valley back in 1992 and 2002. Clemson is favored to win by 27 points. Kickoff is set for 12:30pm.
