Nonprofit holding bullying workshop in Greenville
GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) — A nonprofit organization that aims to empower young people to make better decisions is holding a workshop on bullying in Greenville.
WYFF-TV reports that Think2xTwice.org is hosting a town hall meeting Friday at the Carolina First Center.
CEO Traci Fant says the workshop is focusing on helping parents, educators and community leaders identify bullies and bullying behavior. Fant says that behavior can show up in verbal, physical and racial statements and attacks through online social networking sites
Organizers say the workshop includes a panel of educators, church and community leaders, as well as representatives from victims advocate groups.
