Monday: City set to Launch Bullet Proof Vest Project

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Monday Columbia Mayor Steve Benjamin will be joined by Columbia Police Chief Randy Scott and others to announce the launch of a program for bullet proof vests. The Mayor will be joined by JHS Capital Advisors founder John H. Sykes and US Patriot, LLC Vice President of Operations Paul Paterson at a news conference at Columbia Police Department Headquarters on Monday, September 17 at 10:00 a.m. They will to launch the JHS Shield Program, an exciting new initiative to provide lifesaving bulletproof vests for the men and women of the Columbia Police Department.
