Governor McMaster joins lawmakers for National Day of Prayer

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— Dozens gathered at the State House today for National Day of Prayer.

It’s observed each year on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to pray – or meditate – for the nation.

At the State House lawmakers from both parties along with Governor Henry McMaster showed up for the event.
