Sumter County man in custody following manhunt

SUMTER CO., S.C. (WOLO) – A Sumter county man is in custody following a manhunt on Wednesday.

Quinton Josey was arrested without incident after breaking free from deputies following an initial arrest.

Sumter County deputies conducted a search involving parts of the Lakewood subdivision.

Area residents provided assistance with Josey’s arrest.

The community was not in danger and the incident has been successfully resolved.
