2 charged in shooting death of Lancaster man

LANCASTER, S.C. (AP) — Two people have been arrested after a Lancaster man was found shot to death in his home.

Police said Monday that 29-year-old Junior Lee Kiker Jr. and 29-year-old Samantha Diane Humphries were each charged in the death of David Scott Brazzell.

Investigators say Humphries is Brazzell’s former girlfriend and conspired with Humphries to rob the 41-year-old victim. Police say Brazzell let Humphries into his home Saturday morning, and Kiker came in shortly thereafter and shot Brazzell.

Bond has been denied for both Kiker and Humphries. It wasn’t known if they had attorneys.
