Clemson Cracks Top 10, Gamecocks #11 In Polls

(WOLO) — Clemson is back in the top ten, and Carolina football isn’t far behind. The Tigers are up four spots to #9 in the October 28th edition of the coaches’ poll. Clemson is ranked 10th in the new Associated Press Top 25. USC is ranked 11th in both polls, up five spots in the coaches’ poll and six spots in the A.P. Clemson is 7-1 on the season, 4-1 in the ACC. The Tigers are coming off a 42-13 Thursday night thrashing of Wake Forest and will play at Duke this Saturday at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2. Carolina is 7-2 on the season, 5-2 in the SEC. The Gamecocks are coming off a 38-35 home win against Tennessee and have a bye this Saturday. The new BCS standings will be released Sunday night.
