Accounting Discrepancy at SC Lottery

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The South Carolina Education Lottery says SLED is investigating an accounting discrepancy discovered at the agency. A spokesperson for the South Carolina Lottery Commission reports an internal investigation revealed an accounting discrepancy. Lottery Commission Director Paula Harper Bethea says appropriate action has been taken and the issue has been resolved. The investigation into the incident has been turned over to SLED.
