Coroner Identifies Two Bodies: Struck in roadway

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The Richland County Coroner has identified the two people struck and killed in a roadway off Two Notch Road. Gary Watts has released the names of the 2 individuals that were struck and killed early Saturday morning, November 3rd, 2012 in the 7300 block of Two Notch Road. According to the Coroner, the victims were involved in a physical altercation and apparently were in the roadway and rolled into the path of a vehicle when they were struck. Otis H. Starks, DOB, 5-21-1971, 1230 Coralbean Way, Columbia, SC, 29229, and Corey Trapp, DOB, 4-15-1977, 1220 Lorick Road, Blythewood, SC, 29016 both died at the scene from injuries sustained when they were run over in the roadway. The South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate.
