Columbia Police: Suspicious death of 66-year-old now being investigated as murder
COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Columbia Police say the suspicious death of a 66-year-old female on Byron Road is now being investigated as a murder.
According to police, the autopsy revealed that the victim died from blunt force trauma to her body.
Investigators say they are following leads to determine who committed the crime.
The body of the female was found Saturday in the 300 block of Byron Road, say police.
