SLED: Man charged with Criminal Sexual Conduct on SC State Campus

Orangeburg, S.C. (WOLO)– Investigators say a man is in custody in connection with a recent sexual assault on the campus of South Carolina State University.

According to an incident report, the assault took place at Hugine Suites on College Ave.

Investigators say on October 18 Davon Johnson went with the victim to her dorm room so she could check her messages on her phone she left charging.

According to police, Johnson then sexually assaulted the victim.

Investigators say two days later the victim was able to identify Johnson as her attacker from a photographic line-up.
