Man gets locked inside World Diamond Tower vault

(Associated Press)  — The address? 580 Fifth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, NY.
Is home to the World Diamond Tower housing several jewelry business well. one man was sitting there, checking on his riches, or whatever people do with a safe deposit box in the Diamond Tower.

When the vault door shut. BOOM! Just like that alone and trapped overnight. fire crews tried to break into the three feet of reinforced concrete walls….. but were not successful. still trapped. the crews tried again. no luck. they got to the point where they’d have to use torches to possibly get in.

10 hours later they had to quit because the torches would release dangerous levels of , “i’m using a torch on a bank vault and it cant be good for whomever is inhaling” kinda fumes.

Then 7am rolled around just like that, the vault scheduled to unlock and open did just that. The man walked out unharmed. Thanks to the thing that turns your lights on when you’re not home, a timer.
