Local company to hosts 16th annual Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway

Columbia, SC (WOLO ) — Thanksgiving is right around the corner.  While some South Carolina families are making their food runs, filling up their buggies with all of the delicious dishes they plan to prepare for their gathered friends and family, there are some who may not be as fortunate.

Victory Promotions is giving families a reason to be thankful this season as they get ready to host their 16th Annual Turkey Giveaway. The organizers say they take great joy in being able to bring smiles, while helping put food on the table for members of the Midlands community. As their way of giving back to those in need, the company says they plan on giving away over a hundred turkeys.

If you or someone you know is in need of a little help putting a bird on the table during this season of thanks they can stop by Space Dining at 2732 Decker Boulevard to get one free turkey per family. The giveaway is set for November 21, 2023 and will be held from 5pm until 8 pm.

Organizers for the event say,

“This even is a testament to our commitment to making a positive impact….every family deserves to have a great Thanksgiving.”   And all the more reason for some area families to be thankful.
