AAA says gas prices are expected to be cheaper this Thanksgiving

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– If you are hitting the road for Thanksgiving, AAA says gas prices are slowly falling at the pump.
According to AAA, the current national average price of regular gas is down at least 55 cents.
The national average for a gallon stands at $3.30.

Per a release, “Drivers this Thanksgiving can expect cheaper gas prices,” said Andrew Gross, AAA spokesperson. “Ten states now have sub $3 a gallon averages, and more will join soon. So savvy drivers will find savings on their way to a turkey dinner this year.”

Here in the Midlands, drivers are paying an average of $2.91 per gallon.
