Google to start deleting inactive accounts
CNN– If you have a Google account that you haven’t checked in years here is your warning it might be getting wiped this week.
Starting on Friday, Google is moving ahead with its plan to delete accounts that have been inactive for at least two years.
This new policy was announced back in May with the hopes of addressing security risks.
The first phase will delete accounts that were created and never revisited.
To save your account, all you need to do is log in at least once every two years.
