USC Earns No. 1 Seed in NCAA Tournament

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — For the third straight time, the Lady Gamecocks will be a number one seed in the NCAA women’s tournament.

Hundreds of fans showed up Monday night to the Colonial Life Arena as the announcement was made. The Team will open up against Jacksonville Friday night at 7:30pm at Colonial Life Arena. If they come out on top, they would play the winner of George Washington and Kansas State.

This season, the team is 31-1, and were undefeated in SEC play for the first time in school history.
