Community garden dedication held at Gaston Branch Library

GASTON, S.C. (WOLO)– Things are growing at the Gaston Branch Library.

Officials dedicated a new community garden at the library on Wednesday morning.

They say the garden will provide opportunities for people to learn about gardening and to volunteer in the garden to grow vegetables, fruit, and herbs.

The library will also provide gardening classes.

Food grown in the garden will be distributed to seniors and those in need.
