Prisma Health welcomes new facility dogs
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– On Wednesday afternoon, Prisma Health Children’s Hospital held a Welcome Paw-ty for Mirabel and Duke the hospital’s two new facility dogs.
The four-legged friends are trained to help children cope with medical situations that can sometimes be stressful or scary.
Mirabel and Duke were adopted thanks to the generosity of the Michael J. Mungo Foundation.
