COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– In today’s look at Local Living, there will be a Christmas Holiday Market this weekend.You can shop through an endless supply of boutiques, crafters, artisans, and more.
It takes place on Dec.2 through Dec.3 at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.
The cost is $7 for adults and free for kids 12 and under.
The Midlands Clay Arts Society is hosting its 22nd annual Holiday Sale at Stormwater Studios.
You can find unique pieces for your home, friends, family, and more made by local ceramic artists.
The event is being held on Thursday, Nov.30 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, Dec.1 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, Dec.2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Columbia Animal Shelter is offering two volunteer programs to give their animals a much-needed break from the shelter life.
Anyone interested can sign up for Doggie Day Out where you can take a shelter dog for a walk or on a field trip to meet other dogs.
Also, the shelter is looking for Slumber Buddies to take shelter pets home overnight or over the weekend.
