Troopers: Pedestrian killed during I-26 collision

ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WOLO)– A pedestrian was pronounced dead after a collision on I-26 East early Sunday morning, said the SCHP.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol said the collision happened near the 135-mile marker, 2 miles East of Calhoun.

A Ford van and a pedestrian were both traveling East on the highway when the van hit the pedestrian on the road.

The collision is under investigation.
