The department will collect canned goods and non-perishable food items tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the fire department’s headquarters.
All donations will then be sorted, bagged and distributed to area households that are in need of food this Christmas.
There’s still time to check out the Christmas lights at Saluda Shoals Park.
Holiday Lights on the River is the Midland’s largest drive-through light show and open nightly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. through Dec.31.
