Recent shooting believed to be drug related, investigators say

CAYCE, S.C. (WOLO)– The Cayce Police Department say investigators are looking through the evidence and following leads into the recent Abbott Arms apartment shooting.

According to the investigators, the shooting happened on around 11 p.m. on Monday, Dec.11.

Handguns, marijuana and the vehicles used in the shooting were recovered, says the CPD.

Investigators say a second person who was shot during the incident and then driven to a second hospital was located.

The person is in stable condition.

The motive of the shooting is believed to be linked to drugs and officers are continuing to identify everyone involved.
