Gilbert home destroyed in Friday morning fire, Lexington County firefighters say
LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The Lexington County Fire Service says a home is destroyed after a Friday morning fire.
According to firefighters, the fire happened in the 100 block of George Lewis Road in Gilbert around 6 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 29.
When fire crews got to the scene, the house was already fully in flames.
No one was inside the home at the time of the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
No injuries were reported after a Lexington County home was destroyed by a fire Friday morning.
