Police: Train Hits Individual Walking along Tracks

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO) – Police are looking into a deadly accident along some train tracks in Lexington. It happened around 5:15pm Thursday near the intersection of South Lake Drive and Railroad Avenue. Officers say a train struck and killed a pedestrian, who was walking along the tracks. They do not believe that individual was aware of the oncoming train. The accident remains under investigation.
