Kershaw County deputies investigating morning shooting, man shot in leg
KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a morning shooting after a man was shot in the leg, say deputies.
Kershaw investigators say the shooting happened on Wednesday, Jan. 4 around 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. but it was not reported until around 5:30 p.m.
Deputies believe the shooting happened on or near Hwy-601 in Lugoff, S.C.
The victim of the shooting was shot in the leg and is being treated for a non-life threatening injury.
Also, the shooting is believed to not be random and deputies do not feel the public is in any danger, say the department.
