Troopers: One dead after single-vehicle collision in Lexington County

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– One person is dead after a collision in Lexington County on Thursday, said state troopers.

The collision happened on Boiling Springs Road, 7 miles South of Lexington around 6:13 p.m.

According to Master Trooper Brandon Bolt, the driver of a 2003 Chevrolet pickup truck was going North on Boiling Springs Road when it went off the left side of the road and hit a tree.

The collision is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
