Boil Water Advisory

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — The City of Columbia has issued a boil water advisory for water customers of the 200 block of Blue Savannah Street.

Officials say water customers in the area should vigorously boil their water for at least one full minute prior to drinking or cooking.

The City of Columbia has experienced an eight inch water main break, which  could possibly result in bacterial contamination of the water.   The City of Columbia Water Works is working to correct this problem.
